I bought my Fuji X-T30 as a back-up camera to my X-T3, mainly because the sale price was just too good to pass up. But I am finding I Like the X-T30 far more than I expected.
The X-T3 will be my main camera, especially for anything important. The X-T3 has weather sealing, dual card slots (it’s always good to have back-up for those important shoots,) more customization of buttons to make it easier to change settings on the fly, and an awesome electronic viewfinder (EFV).
But the X-T30 has the same sensor as the X-T3, same image quality, same great focusing system, and most of the important features I want. The EVF is a small step down from the one in the X-T3, but it is still pretty darn good (and still far better than what I had when shooting Olympus.)
And the X-T30 is so small and light, I barely notice it hanging over my shoulder. The X-T3 in a bag with a few lenses will be my main kit, but I can see the X-T30 being the camera I carry everywhere to capture those unexpected moments.
